Don't think but feel!

About Me

I literally work non-stop. I have random days off. Actually I like it. Definitely don't feel 34 still young at heart though. Discovering new horizons and challenges. When I can, I love exploring outdoors. Once I experienced two bears run past me, one within inches. Happened too quick to have any fear. When I found a skull in the woods, the first thing I thought was to call the police. But then I got curious about it. I picked it up, and started wondering who this person was, and why he had deer horns. Another time I accidentally hiked all the way to Mexico and was too tired to hike back with illegals so I asked the driver that dropped them off for a ride to Tijuana and rode trolley to my friend who gave me a ride 50 miles to my truck. Was that a run on sentence? All my jobs have involved hard work.

My Interests

San Diego has a top rated outdoors. Beach on one end, snow in the mountains, Desert on other end. Caves, forest, steep cliffs, miles and miles of .. road to ride on. I love it here.

I'd like to meet:

God when it's my turn, I like people who can maintain, who have self esteem enough to smile and laugh. Generally don't care what people think, but give back respect when due. I root for the underdog. Here's a good thing to do if you go to a party and you don't know anybody: First take out the garbage. Then go around and collect any extra garbage that people might have, like a crumpled napkin, and take that out too. Pretty soon people will want to meet the busy garbage guy. ..

Music:

Was into hard stuff in younger years, Have evolved to expansive types of music. unlimited but I only like it if it gives me a musical orgasm

Movies:

If it is good and intriguing I like it. But I am annoyed with big budget films that are full of hype and predictable. Lord of the Rings and Star Wars are excellent trilogies though. . Will Ferrel's always good. Office Space is classic.

Television:

I am into boring stuff anymore. News .History Channel,Animal Planet,Discovery, etc. and occasionally C-span, if you can believe that.Bored with most so tend to lean towards stuff that will tickle my intellect.

Books:

Read Swan Song when I was stuck anchored out at the Bering Sea because of all the storms one season. It is an excellent book about post nuclear world, great book!! Read Bible about three times all the way through. . Tend not to read fiction. I like to read anything dealing with facts or concepts of realities. . as a youngster one of my favorite books was 20,001 Fascinating Facts. Few of my friends could understood my enthusiasm for some of my interests. Love knowledge. Have a need to know the essence of things.Although, whenever you read a good book, it's like the author is right there, in the room talking to you, which is why I don't like to read good books.

Heroes:

All the Bruce Lee's and Michael Jordan's of different arts. Bob Marley etc. People who have transcended in their individual arts. Most have one thing in common. They were told they could not succeed. Most of these did not obey this advice and transcended. When I was a kid I liked super heroes who had less supernatural powers and more natural abilities.
