My Interests

Music:

Band Website: www.myspace.com/mellotronmetal
Band Members: The other members of the band are: Peter Hopersberger, Scott Thompson, Tony Piccoli, and last, but certainly not least, Bryan Paxton.
Influences:My drumming influences are pretty far-ranging. I have always loved the drummers in Frank Zappa's bands (Terry Bozzio, Vinnie Colaiuta, Chad Wackerman, etc) . I also really enjoy alot of todays and yesterdays Heavy Metal and and Prog-Metal drummers as well (Mike Portnoy, Joey Jordison, Deen Castronovo, Thomas Haake, etc.). I still listen to many Jazz-Fusion drummers (Dave Weckl, Peter Erskine, Steve Gadd, etc.). Hey, why limit yourself? I'd have to say though, my biggest drumming influence has been Neil Peart. Without his music and his style finding me at the right time in my drumming life, I wouldn't be the drummer I am today.....and go!!!Me and my current piece of destructive chaos, Mellotrön at The Token Lounge 3-15-2008The opening moments just before the body count began. What can I say? This song and this band are just "Sick" !!!!!
Sounds Like: Your average run-of-the-mill Death-Prog-Detroit-Power-Metal!!!
