I am now 86 years old. Well, back in 1945/1946 I have been working in Omaha at the Missouri River Division Depot situated at 30th and Sprague, in Omaha as an italian prisoner of war (P.O.W.).
I do remember with joy those wonderful days and I am asking
myself who of the nice people I knew is so lucky to be able to read these few words. I remember also that the wharehouse was near the Northern High Scool.
At that time we were quartered in the old National Guard building at 22nd and Hickory. And then we went to Fort Crook Army camp. I am closing now hoping to have news soon.
