Spending as much time as I can with my family and friends. Random adventures, a dusty passport, the postcard collection, art, reading and writing (it's genetic), southern comfort, hearing a good story, Neato Burritos (fabulous), people-watching (the best thing about malls and airports), taking a drive, taking a walk, the city, the country, October, cooking, trying to become a baseball fan, board game tournaments, paper umbrellas, fishnets, and rain. You know, the usual. I don't like alarm clocks, most pastas, roller coasters, winter weather, sunburns, driving 15 passenger vans, or working for the man.
My Clark Kent. Audrey Hepburn. Ranger. Ramon Fernandez. Pirates. A pool shark. A real guitar hero. I like to meet new people. (As long as they're generally decent with half a brain and a high tolerance for sarcasm.)
A little bit country and little bit rock and roll. A little bit of everything really. Singalongs and singing loud.
Indiana Jones, James Bond, Casablanca, Sahara, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, 16 Candles, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, The Goonies, Dirty Dancing, The Royal Tennenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Garden State, American Beauty, Lost in Translation, The Usual Suspects, Excess Baggage, Snatch, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrells, Layer Cake, Memento, 200 Cigarettes, Go, Empire Records, Reality Bites, The Outsiders, The Godfather, Charade, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Roman Holiday, Sabrina, My Fair Lady, An Affair to Remember, The Sting, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Hud, The Hustler, Mallrats, Dogma, Clerks, Star Wars, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Bourne Identity, Amelie, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Good Will Hunting, Batman, Wedding Crashers, Old School, Starsky & Hutch, Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, The Blues Brothers, The Big Chill, About a Boy, Four Weddings and Funeral, Love Actually, Bend it Like Beckham, Bridget Jones, Big Fish, Almost Famous, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, 3000 Miles to Graceland, National Treasures, Ocean’s 11-13, Legends of the Fall, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Last of the Mohicans, High Fidelity, Great Expectations, School of Rock, Orange County, O Brother Where Art Thou, Fargo, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Office Space, Fight Club, Wonder Boys, Elizabethtown, Jerry Maguire, Field of Dreams, When Harry Met Sally, Secretary, Chinatown, L.A. So I’ll stop for now. Anyone want to play six degrees of Kevin Bacon or name that movie? Come on. Let's go.
The Office, Oprah, and Criminal Minds when I have time. I want to punch Lost in the face, but I can't stop watching it. Law and Order never gets old. Arrested Development or Northern Exposure re-runs. Extreme Makeover Home Edition makes me cry every Sunday night, and I like it.
Breakfast at Tiffany's, all the Stephanie Plum novels (Yay for bounty huntering.), The End of the Pier, Hotel Paradise, Cold Flat Junction, Belle Ruin, The Hotel Eden, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, The Maltese Falcon, On the Road, The Rum Diary, The Big Sleep, The Universal History of Iniquity, Big Fish, Snow Falling on Cedars, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, The Palm At the End of the Mind, Kissing in Manhattan, Pride and Predjudice, Jane Eyre, Alice in Wonderland, Caramba, The Da Vinci Code, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Shopgirl, The Pleasure of My Company, Agnes and the Hitman, and I better stop now or this could turn into the movie list fiasco.
My family. The Farons. And my friends. They're resilient, optimistic, and love unconditionally.
