Formally known as the Arena, the Empire is located in Carmel Street, Town Centre, Abertillery.
The Empire is a club with a vision of bringing a taste of City Life into The Valleys. We have a large "events" room that holds up to 650 people and The Arena Bar, which holds up to 250 people. This makes us the largest licensed premises in the borough of Bleanau Gwent. In the Larger Events room we boast a stage area, which is large enough to accommodate the majority of touring acts, dance groups!!! We have a modern comprehensive lighting system that caters for all acts / Dj’s etc... It can be switched from an ambient feel to an energetic / vibrant feel within seconds and at the stage end all the acts are catered for with a range of par cans and pin spots and various lighting effects flooding the stage
The events room is fitted with Thunder Ridge sound system that’s flown above the dance floor and stage area giving maximum audio coverage for the whole room. The Sub Bass System is ASS Audio
