About Me

The upcoming release of Singer/Songwriter Jake Laufer’s second studio CD, Notes from the Sherpa Underground, features the musicianship, soulful vocals and quirky lyrical stylings that made him a longtime favorite of the Mid-Atlantic club and college scenes. Having shared the stage with everybody from Rick Springfield to Eric Hutchinson, Jake has proven his ability to entertain crowds and win fans at venues large and small for over 10 years. Jake’s literate acoustic pop has been compared to artists like Ben Lee, Elvis Costello and Matthew Sweet, and now that he’s relocated to LA, he's now poised to take his music to the next level.
