About Me

Created by Mingle2.com (Dating for non-zombies)I fight my own aggression every day. I can't stand stupidity, or people that are oblivious to the world.I am bad at sales, marketing and advertising, so I probably won't do a good job selling myself here - is that what I'm supposed to do? Things have changed a lot for me this year. I quit my job of seven years and took a break from school after I realized the life I was building for myself wasn't the life I wanted. After the initial shock of turning my own world upside down on myself, I did some soul searching and found a new path for myself. I've now been accepted into the nutrition and fitness program in CSU, where I will specialize in diatetics. I'm looking forward to starting school in the spring and finally being excited about what I want to be when I grow up. I feel comfortably acquainted with myself at this point in time. I finally am familiar with all the faces that make-up me. Doesn't mean to say that I don't struggle and fight with myself, but I'm trying to build bridges these days, rather than burn them.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Real people. I feel like I am picking out a new handbag or something. What kind of people would I like to meet? Maybe it would be easier for me to explain the kind of people I don't want to meet (or just can't seem to get along with). I have no use or desire for pretentious or vain people. I have no use for people that aren't trying to do something with their lives, although I love people that struggle. I get sad when I meet people that are bigoted or racist. I love people that are prettier than me, inside or out. I love kind people. I love people that encourage me. I love people that love the arts, and books. I love people that feel depressed, but don't make themselves the victim of life. I love people that are trying to make themselves healthy. I love people that don't do everything right.

upside down and inside out

Deep Thoughts, by Jack Handey...

The wise man can pick up a grain of sand and envision a whole universe.  But the stupid man will just lay down on some seaweed and roll around in it until he's completely draped in it.  Then...
