OK my friend Heidi got upset that I removed my comments about her from the "About me" section and actually wrote something about myself instead. So I have to add this since I have "some nerve" actually talking about myself in this allotted space. I was born and raised in Rhode Island. You got to love living in a state that only takes you 45 minutes to drive from end to end. I am in the Rhode Island Air National Guard and have been in the military for 19 years (1 more and I can retire). I work as an Aircraft Electrician on the new C-130J Hercules aircraft. Prior to that, I worked on the greatest fighter plane ever created, the F-15 Eagle. The best thing about working aircraft maintenance is where the planes go, you get to go and as a result I have been all over the world and get paid to do it. I have visited more countries than states; 29 countries. I've done 4 rotations over to the desert so far but looks like I won't have to go this year. As a civilian I work as a Computer Systems Administrator. It’s nice having a job where you can surf the web all day. I love to play golf. I’ve been to a few PGA tournaments and its amazing how good these guys are when you see them in person. I’m a Boston Red Sox fan and I am just glad I was alive to actually see them win another World Series. As you may have guessed I am also a New England Patriots fan.
