Meet Another dkl: er
Scott Spruill:

Keyboardist, Multi-Instrumentalist, Vocalist, Worship Leader
www.myspace.com/spruillzie

Scott currently resides in Fort Mill, SC with his lovely wife, Stefanie. Scott has a passion for intimate, heartfelt worship that supercedes the typical. Aside from a critical ear, Scott is also a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. He first cut his teeth leading worship at different events in his hometown of Canton, GA before leaving to tour the United States in 2004. Scott currently leads worship at Crosspoint Church in the Charlotte, NC area: www.crosspoint521.org

"I have had the privilege to be the Creative Arts/ Worship Pastor for Crosspoint Church. My passion for the local church and seeing it function as it was intended is immense. All of the things that God has allowed me to go through have been tools to begin the process of shaping my heart, the way I worship and develop bands, and how I write songs."

At least, that's the published blurb - now for the real insider's scoop: Scott has been gracing us with his presence and talents for a number of months. Wednesday is the day of the week that I can depend on to be joyful and musically exciting, no matter what: (Wednesday is Scott's tracking day.) Scott is one of the hardest working and talented cats I've had the good fortune to work with. I am also proud and grateful to call him a friend. For those of you here to listen, all of those cool B3, piano, and string arrangement parts that you 're enjoying are courtesy of Scotty; for those of you recording with us, I don't suppose I need to tell you what that means to you.

Thanks, Scotty - for all you do...

I recently spoke with Dave: , founder and creator of The Indie Venue Bible: . This entrepreneurial spirit began his pursuit nine years ago in order to find bookings for himself and friends. The Indie Venue Bible has since grown to have over twenty researchers in the field, constantly on the watch for various types of venues. Among these are self-booking, making it easier for all of us out in the trenches. Please stop by, have a visit and invite your friends: www.myspace.com/venuebible .
I sure wish this publication had been available back when I was booking and touring. :
Thanks to you, Dave!:

Testimonials:
.. C.R. Mullican: (Singer-Songwriter of Workingman): Richmond, VA
"If you are a songwriter that has songs and want to get them developed with a full band sound, go with dkl: Recording. Before finding dkl: Recording, I had a hard time trying to put together a band to develop my songs. I sent Dave some acoustic/vocal mp3 tracks via the internet; he added a full band, with REAL instruments and the songs turned out AWESOME!!! Since then, he has produced over 20 tracks for me, mixed them and they were ready for final mastering. Dave is a multi-instrumental genius and worked hard one-on-one with me to capture what I wanted. His pricing is unbelievable for what you get. He lives in Charlotte, NC, but we did all of this through phone calls and the internet. Songwriters, I highly recommend that you get in touch with Dave to see what he can do for you!"

Lauren Moore & Nathan Lucas: (HenriHenrietta): Indianapolis, IN
"We found out about dklRecording from Craigslist! We added them on myspace and within hours were already receiving friendly messages and compliments. When we started adding new music they took such a personal interest in helping us promote, it was astounding! Dave is really a talented musician who seems well-versed in almost any kind of instrument and knows how to work with any style of music. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have run into Dave and Kris at dkl: Recording! They became instant fans and have done so much for us already."
