The Road

Oh, road. You always seem to be calling my name
So open, yet defined, so straight forward in design
You hide what is yet to be found
You make use of our time.
Bind us together with the love of our brother
And let our relationships grow
Do not let us turn against one another
In fear of letting each other go.
Keep sorrows meek
From the girls we seek
So we may leave faster than we arrived
When all has been seen and done
Do not let our memory fade
As that is our dearest treasure
Friends are the ones that remain
I trust you, for my heart is too timid to stay
Fulfill my dreams and bring me to another day.
