Hi, my name is Jesse Amarelo and I'm the owner of

in Bristol, RI. I joined myspace to network and meet to new people. I'm not originally from East Bay so I'm finally taking everyone's advice and starting a myspace page.
A little about myself. I live in East Providence, RI with my gorgeous girlfriend and beautiful baby girl. She just turned 2 1/2 and is without a doubt the best thing to ever happen to me. I grew up in nearby Swansea, MA and graduated from Case High School. I went on to college at UMASS at Amherst. That absolutely flew by. Besides partying fulltime at UMASS I was also able to play football for the Minutemen. We were pretty decent while I was there but we actually went on to win the Div 1-AA National Championship the year after I left. Go figure. Anyhow, after college, and football for that matter, were over I needed to fuel the competitive drive so I began boxing. I made it to the finals of the first Golden Glove tournament I entered in 1999. From there I went on to win numerous titles including the 2002 Bud-Belt Championship,the 2003 SNE Golden Gloves, and the 2004 SNE Golden Gloves. I had to put my boxing career on hold after 2004. The opportunity to own a gym presented itself and I had to take it. Although I tell people I still have one more run left in me. I'm able to stay involved with boxing however by teaching it at my gym. My clients love it because there learning an invaluable skill and getting a great workout at the same time. Now about a little about Ultimate Fitness. A lot of people don't know that this gym actually began as The Total Fitness Center in Warren, RI close to 25 years ago. It was located across the street from Jamiel's where Warren Town Pizza is now. About 10 years later it was bought and moved to Bristol where the name changed to R.I.Hardbodies. I took over 3 years ago and now it's Ultimate Fitness. When I took over the gym was basically out of business. I had a nice, cushy job with FedEx at the time but tt was always a dream of mine to own and run my own gym. So when the opportunity presented itself I seized it. I went against a lot of people's advice to take over a failing business. All I can say is that I believe things happen in life for a reason. I have been truely blessed and guided by God. It's really a great gym. I'm very proud of it. If you're looking for a gym with lots personality, and personalities, then you should definetly check us out.
