Hi, and welcome to my page. My name is Julie, I am married to my very best friend from High School.(We found each other after 18 long years.) He is truly a blessing from heaven. We have 3 beautiful children; Miranda who is 17, Braxton who is 15, and our youngest Mariah who is 13.
I was employed in the banking industry as a manager for about 10 years. About 3 years ago I became very ill and was forced to resign. It was the most terrifying time in my life, but also one of the most memorable and blessed seasons of my life.If's funny how GOD works, I was extremely prideful! I had an awesome paying career. We did not WANT for anything I had an impressive "TITLE". BUT, I was not fulfilled! I felt a huge void in my heart. I never could have just quit my job for FEAR of financial ruin. My "Status" would change, I mean I would loose my "TITLE"! (silly I know)
I honestly believe that God used my illness to move me to another season! Genesis 50:20 What the devil means for evil God uses for GOOD! Praise God! I have more joy, peace, fulfillment and freedom than I have ever experienced! It was a complete change for our entire family. No more early morning meetings, no more 14 hour days, no more Saturdays in the office, no missing choir performances, soccer and softball games. They all love the fact that I am able to be home for them (I have a lot of time to make up for).I have the most wonderful relationship with my kids, and my awesome husband who supports me through the roughest of times.
Financially, GOD has blessed us more that we could ever ask for or even imagine! Ephesians 3:20.But let me tell you it was not the way I would have chosen to leave the corporate world. But GOD has a way of doing what is BEST for us, not what makes us FEEL good.
