Uh, hello!, good day! whattup, salutations, however you wanna put it. My name is...J-Snyder, some of yall may know me as Jsnizzy! I'm pretty much a goofball who was blessed with the gift and dedication to create music, it's my best form of release instead of screaming, doing kung-fu, and seeing a psychiatrist ya nah mean mayne?. I'm different tho young....no really i am fam, i've known it for a very long time, and anyone who knows me will let ya know jack. I enjoy video games (Gears of War 2, Street Fighter 4 foo!), women (fine dimes like wine), movies (Catch me at da Cinema!), Anime (berserk/death note) and prolly most of all making music, can't forget playing basketball even tho i am a lil edgy on the court. Uh, lets see the mc/rapper side of things.... I started rappin on accident , after seeing freestyle battles go down in highschool i was like "maybe i can do this..." I was washin dishes and tried it and i was a str8 punchline mc/rapper (damn those were the good ol' days), after being put on to legends such as Nas, Big L, Jedi Mind Tricks, Pete rock, Dj Premiere, and too many to name, i was determined to improve my own lyricism to what you hear today. There's Alot to the rap side of me....too much actually, i have a soul conscious goofball side, sometimes aggressive which is J-Snyder of course, and this dark voice in the back of my head called Shane Snyder, see the doom tape for more info on that last character......yup. Somehow i've released over 6 cds (sorry famala can't fit em all in the blog), with about 3 or 4 i haven't even released, but i'm just not there yet and i have much to learn, these are just boot camps for the bigger picture. Beatmaker/producer wise, i operate like a damn robot, i usually humm somethin in my head and try to bring it to life. Theres only one thing about that tho..... It's different than rappin and alot more technical yo, i hate it and love it and the same time, but the love outweighs the hate (shrugs). I make soul beats, hardcore beats, r&b beats from old songs i grew up listening to or found everyday, i make what i want, when i feel like it and i enjoy what i make, i look at sampling as paying hommage to the wonderful artists who came before me. But, even with the burden of constantly reminding myself "ya gotta get better" i ignore it to keep myself calm and not stressed, and just try to naturally keep on improving, i've learned force isn't always the best route to go dawg (c) Randy from American Idol. This is part of a dream come true for me, i don't have a crazy amount of fans, i don't know alot of famous people, and i damn sho ain't signin the breasts of groupies when i perform. Hell, i work just like you and i'm a damn mail man for crying out loud! But what i do have is the love and support from people, nah....... family on and offline that believe in what i doing, that goes a long way for a brotha whos usually by himself. Without them, i wouldn't even be doing this, they are my drive.
