The company Entre VÃrgulas (Between Commas) has concerts and events’ production as its main activity, as well as being the exclusive agent of Brazilian artists, divulging its booked artists and managing their careers in Portugal (Continent and Islands).
The goal of the company is to guarantee the coming of secured names in the music business with strong popularity amongst the Portuguese audience and to promote new musical proposals that, unfortunately, never made it into Portuguese stages.
How it appeared
In 2005, Van Cotrim, born in São Paulo, Brazil, begins her activity in Portugal, as a Theatre Producer, producing five shows for the company Arte Ciência no Palco (Brazil) in Lisbon, Aveiro and Coimbra.
Considering the Brazilian Community in Portugal and the interest of Portuguese people for the Brazilian culture, she decides to expand her activity into the musical area.
After co-producing 2 shows (Zélia Duncan, in Aula Magna - Lisbon, and in Albufeira - Algarve), she starts booking some Brazilian Artists exclusively in Portugal.
The company Entre VÃrgulas - Produção e Agenciamento Lda., representing a personal dream started to materialize in March 2006, when the company was formed.
