I've wanted to be a musician for as long as I can remember and began playing cello aged 7, moved on to saxophone aged 8 and then piano aged 9. I later began playing harmonica and bass guitar as well, and I plan to learn to sing and drum in the near future. I graduated from Southampton University with a music degree specialising in jazz piano performance and I still live in Southampton, promoting musical events, playing with a number of bands, teaching and recording. I generally provide solutions for anyone looking for live music, session musicians, venues, gigs or teachers.Some memorable moments include performing in the main arena of the Millennium Dome, joining a group led by Melanie Blatt from All Saints and performing at Vienne Jazz Festivals 2004 and 2009, Montreaux Jazz Festival 2007 and North Sea Jazz Festival 2008. The highlights of the story so far - arranging and conducting a small choir for a live performance with Jazzanova, finding that Pat Metheney had the time and patience to answer everything I wanted to ask him about music....and the jam session with India Arie, Joel Powell, Eddy White and the musicians from John Legend's band to an audience which included Quincy Jones, The Beastie Boys and Faithless.
