Penny Dreadful hails from “Helltown”. The devils vacation spot---the devils playground. It is the nightshade version of the Garden of Eden where the forbidden fruits continue to be enjoyed: a fire-belching industrial border town; a northern wild west; a depressed post industrial apocalyptic sci-fi metropolis exploring a new artistic underground. Penny Dreadful are native of this city and they play unadulterated frenzy driven rock. Like their environment, their music is where beauty and ugliness collide.
