About Me

"We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution."
--William Melvin Hicks

I'm currently studying infotech and Japanese (though I'm teaching myself on the second one) at CSU Channel Islands. The day my brain reaches critical mass and can no longer memorize any kanji (that's japanese for "lots of squiggly lines") may be fast approaching, but at the very least I'm getting a good grasp of the radicals, which in modern japanese tells you almost nothing except how to (read: 30% of the time) pronounce the damn things.

I'm pretty left-wing politically, but I'm critical of everyone. especially me. :D

My sense of smell is also really strong, I think.

My music list needs some cleaning-up.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Laid-back people. (Also, if you appreciate Bill Hicks, Pain of Salvation, Machinae Supremacy or Evangelion/End of Eva, or any combination of the above, I want you to have my babies, and I mean that in the most platonic way possible. but then, I suppose it would also help if you were female, as I hear butt-baby deliveries are difficult and the stillborn rate is high.

My Blog

Maos Kitchen: authentic communist Chinese cuisine

I don't feel much description is necessary beyond this: we ate at a very nice Chinese place in LA earlier today. It made no effort to hide any ideology in its decor, and that is part of why I apprecia...

iTunes is a tepid piece of shit.

First, it makes me wait an hour while it looks for album art for my ipod tracks even though my ipod is a generation 4, which is pure black-and-white with a backlight--it can't even display album art.T...

Jews rock. The Offspring do, too.

I catered for a passover dinner for about five hours tonight. The attendees were so damn polite, but more importantly, they're down-to-earth and have a great sense of humor that at times almost border...
