About Me

Until recently, I considered myself an semi-southerner - a person born in the south who doesn't identify with any of the components that make up "The South." I think, though, that the more I'm away from my roots, the more I appreciate the southern charm, the southern simplicity, and, yes, even the southern foods.

Now I'm a California girl, trying to make my way in the theatre world. I'm in my second year of graduate school, earning my MFA in Stage Management. Every day's full of drama and not all of it is on the stage.

My sweetheart of four years asked me to marry him. I said yes. It's a lot more romantic than that, and some day I'll share the juicy details. Our date: 07/07/07.

Also, I'm a pug owner. That makes me a special kind of person. Recently, I threw a corgi in, just for the heck of it.
