Kromka, a noise-rock fourpiece from Wroclaw, Poland. The band no longer exists, unfortunatelly it split a bit too early. The tracks and the video clip come from Kromka's debut self-titled EP, which was recorded by the band in pretty DIY conditions (band's usual rehearsal space, a shed in the garden... possibly not larger than than 10 square meters) sometime around summer 2001. The DIY EP was produced in very small numbers so there must only few copies circulating, probably mostly in Wroclaw and around. The band played a couple of gigs with bands such as Stephans (the amazing Stephans!), Saturnday, Zlodzieje Rowerow, Poltergeist, 2nd Age, Kevorkian or Good Clean Fun.

After splitting in 2002 two of the band members, Macio and Kuba, have formed a drum and bass jazz-core duo, Mikroflota. For some time Bartek, Kuba and Macio have participated in a grindcore project Dysydent. Presently, the Majchrzak brothers run the independent cultural space, Centrum Reanimacji Kultury (CRK) in Wroclaw. Marcin went abroad where he played drums in screamo band L'Homme Puma and currently plays in Glasgow based United Fruit.

Anyway, have a listen to the tracks, feel absolutely free to download and distribute them, give the video a go, and enjoy!
