About Me

I'm a southern boy who spent my young adulthood in Florida. I became the art director for a natural resources magazine published by the State of Florida before moving to California to start my own business in the 1980s. I was a wildlife artist for 15 years before going into my present field of marketing and graphic design/photography. All the while, I have played a little guitar and also have made paintings. I have a Web site: www.johnsonartworks.comAside from my marketing/advertising day job, I am working toward a one-man show of my artwork next year.I have two children, ages 16 and 21. My son is in college and my daughter lives with her mom nearby.

I'd like to meet:

I'm always looking for people with the same interests, but who also offer surprising twists and turns. Creative types. I am interested in bright women with vitality, with an interest or skills in music and/or art and design.

Music:

I play a little acoustic guitar but like my power music (Robin Trower, Eric Clapton, Allman Brothers) as well as some new stuff from Foo Fighters, Jet, and Incubus. Also: country music that's not, like Tim McGraw's When Stars Go Blue, and Suspicions.
