The Clericalz were born in May 2007 from an idea of founder member and vocalist Francesco Maria Petrini, who had been searching for many years for the ideal lineup to work on and perform the more than 200 songs composed since the beginning of this century. The rest of the band is bass player Tommaso "Tommy Blazer" Dettori (also in Revel), pianist/composer/singer/arranger Francesca Bellucci on piano & keyboards (also in The Lorenz Attractor), talented lead guitarist Federico Fastelli and drummer Andrea Gentile (originally from "The Chipmunks" and now also in Robocop vs. Terminator). Since March 2008 young pianist Luisa Santacesaria joined the original line up.
