Influences: too many to list???? but how about bob dylan and aaron copeland (appalachain spring) ... stravinsky's petrushka is a joy... if you don't like the beats you are a punk.. miles was the greatest musician that ever lived... particularly his quartet era (w/wayne shorter/jack d). the beatles and the stones of course, but nick drake was cooler.. missy elliot is the heart and soul of hip hop and kanye west rules... smart funny creative and driven... that's a great hero. joni mitchell is an angel and wrote some beautiful songs.. bb king, don't ever forget elliot smith... too much talent, and what a shame. "the wind up bird chronicle" by haruki murikami is an awesome and terrifyingly beautiful work. "the power of intention" by wayne dyer is equally powerful in an opposite sort of way. "the artist's way" is a useful tool for the seemingly always occasionally lost artist. jack kerouac was a beauty he taught us how to feel, but wayne dyer teaches us how to live. paramahansa yoganda and buddah... well i think we've about wrapped this one up!Â
