I was born and raised in Tulsa, OK...God's green country. I moved to North Texas in 1989 to pursue my career in graphic design. I'm an aviation and automotive enthusiast whose idea of a great weekend is either "road-tripping" to two days in the sun at an airshow, or "road-tripping" to three days in the sun watching racing. I enjoy too many things...drawing, building models, reading, collecting, watching television, playing sports, playing video games, hanging out with friends...the list goes on. The majority of my time is spent developing my design company, Slipstream Graphics.
The sound of an ALMS Corvette C6R makes me giddy. The sound of Blue Angels F-18's gives me chills. The sound of Charlotte Church hitting the high notes of "O Holy Night" knock me clean over. I don't believe there's anything quite as peaceful and relaxing as the wind in your face at the beach in the evening, or during a twilight sail. Nothing gets me more angry than (insert list here). I still think that "Bloom County" was the most hilarious comic strip of all time, but I'll give props to "Calvin & Hobbes". I hate that I'm forced to participate in the payment of some oil company's fat fuck CEO's salary. I believe that the world would be a better place if people would just take the time to simplify things a bit.
I take the time to see the small, barely noticeable beauty of the world around me. Unfortunately, this also means that I pick up on the huge, hard-to-miss pieces of shit as well.
