let me first say that i will watch just about anything. these however, i thought were genius... love actually, harry potter (well not as good as the books but entertaining nonetheless), team america world police, pride and predudice (any version), seabisciut, pursuit of happyness, shining through, harold and maude, when harry met sally, the princess bride, if lucy fell, what the *$@# do we know
I don't watch television so instead I will talk about my favorite artists. I like Hudertwasser most because his art will one day change the world. if we let it. also I like Gaudi, mostly because he reminds me of Hundertwasser. I'm also a fan of Andy Goldsworthy, but at the same time I'm not entirely sure I approve of the way he messes with the lay of the land. ummmm... I find Mark Rothko soothing in a spaced out way. and I like paintings of mamas and babies. they make me feel all warm and think of my cute babies.
i love love love to read but am sorry to say that i'm not able to do much of that in my "parenting years". these are some favorites, but there must be a hundred others that left me wishing for more... pride and predudice and most jane austen (but NOT Persuasion), Robin Hobb's "Farseer" series, Juliette Marillier- daughter of the forest and the rest of that series, harry potter, lord of the rings, the hobbit, the continuum concept, the natural child, the chronicles of narnia, black beauty, the man who listens to horses, a new earth, the mists of avalon, ishmael, my ishmael, A New Earth
Ryan is my hero. i've never met a better man. many props to single parents, all my badass mom friends
