Purpose is a music group consisting of 3 talented female musicians. These are: Gabriella (14), Natalie (18) and Faith (16). Purpose have been together for around 12 months. They were introduced during the NXG Project showcase in the summer of 2007. They can describe the establishment of their group as ‘unexpected’ but certainly ‘not by accident’.
All members have had sufficient experience with music, especially involvement in church from a young age. These young ladies have come over a long way over the past year and can boldly say that they would not have stayed together without God as the centre of their music and most importantly their lives.
The name ‘Purpose’ explains the origin of the establishment of the group and their ministry; God has a plan and a purpose for everything that comes to pass. This group feels that their getting together was to reach out to the youth of today and minister to the lives of people and let them know that they too have a purpose in life… a purpose in God.
