Invasi Records is a record label that distributes its music primarily through digital audio formats (mainly MP3 or Ogg Vorbis) over the Internet. While similar to traditional record labels in many respects, we typically emphasize free distribution online, often under licenses that encourage works to be shared (Creative Commons licenses), and artists usually retain copyright. We employ guerrilla marketing to promote our work.
We have a considerably lower staff count than traditional record labels, in some instances being only a single individual in control of his/her music, maintaining sole ownership. Physical LP's/EP's, are rarely produced by us relying entirely on digital distribution and means of the Internet to provide the product.
Invasi Records is Indonesian-based netlabel, we are anonymous and independent, was established in Bandung in mid-2007. The concept that we are looking for talented bands, especially local bands to release and then distribute their songs. At this time we will only released electronic music genre and also its subs. There is a possibility when we will release the material outside the genre as well as rock, pop, and jazz.
Please note that this label does not get financial and material benefits, because of our sincere goal to (try to) promote and enliven indie scene, particularly in Indonesia. We do not care how big the name of a band. Although only a small band, but when has a good quality, we will be happy to promote it, with the band has music that we consider above average.
We will try to become better from time to time with the ideals we defend, considering there are only a little netlabel in Indonesia. We hope to become the best, therefore we need is moral support and material. We welcome all suggestions that are built from the observer music wherever located.
For the band who feel interested to join our label, you can directly contact us. When in fact we are interested in your material, we will provide further confirmation. We will re-review your song carefully and do some stage in the inspection and then released and published.
