ODOS Trio

The name "Odos" comes from an ancient Greek word which means "path" or "direction". It is the name of a musical project and an instrumental trio. Each component of the band, though coming from different musical backgrounds, has always had a particular interest in past and present musical forms, without choosing a precise shape for their artistic expressions.In Odos' reportoire there are compositions of different types, derived from styles of all ages, from extemporaneous experimentation and from free invention. Moreover, some past composers's pieces have been revisited, changing the sound and revising the original structures.The Odos Trio focuses on its repertoire, by collecting its recent works and experiences, after the collaboration with PETER GREENAWAY and Saskia Boddeke in the show "Democrazia a parole".The Odos Trio is made up mainly of saxophones, guitars and a double bass. It has been the core of several theatrical and musical events, such as BANDAMENANO and BRIGATA SINFONICA Also, It is actively working on music compositions and arrangements for tha theatrical company EMMEA'TEATRO.
