WHAT THE F**K IS AZFESZT?
Azfeszt Festival is one of the most exciting cultural events of Hungary, expecting its guests in the Spa Bath of NyÃrbátor in the middle of august every summer.
Visitors are welcome to hang out non-stop four days long. We provide a wide variety of programs: concerts, performances, theater shows, forums, signig sessions, sport facilities, and at last but definitely not least non-stop use of the thermal bath.
Besides the hungarian mainstream acts in 2008 the event had 10 international known bands to perform from the EU and USA. Although the festival is strongly characterized by its ground idea wich was the talent scouting competition so that every year there is a spot for the young talents to introduce themselves for wider audiences and we provide them a lift to jump into the music business.
NyÃrbátor, the town hosting Azfeszt festival lies in the Eastern-Hungarian region, 60 km from Debrecen, 260 km from Budapest, 40 km from NyÃregyháza, and many major cities of 3 different countries can be found within 120 kilometres distance from NyÃrbátor. Apart from the festival, the historic town center of NyÃrbátor, and the Classical music Festival called "NyÃrbátori Zenei Napok" wich is going to be hold on the same dates as Azfeszt in 2009 guarantees the tourists unforgettable rich memories.
Although at the beginning of Azfeszt festival in 2004 only 22 bands and 900 guests attended the event, 120 performers and nearly 11.000 visitors arrived last year.

ACCOMODATION:
All our guests can camp on the festival site for free, but there are some hotels, hostels and pensions around the city as well for those who prefers higher comfort level.
