24 MARCH 2007 :
HELL YEAH FOR NOTHING is a band from southern Jakarta suburb consisting of Ivyanno Utama Canny on bass/vocals, Danindra Ilham kamil on guitar/vocals, and Adi Permana on drums/back-up vocals/percussion. This plan started from the same of point of view and their mission in playing music. This three school-mates finally agreed to create a band, named : Hell Yeah For Nothing. The name of 'Hell Yeah For Nothing' was taken by it's perception that means 'every single problems that came are shouldn't be cared too seriously, just let it past and hell yeah! In the beginning of their music career, they only had 3 own songs (The Simple Melody, I let Go & This Is Ain’t A Lie) and occasionally they covered a few songs from Green Day & Mxpx in every shows at musical stage. Until this band releases the first EP: "Hell Yeah For Nothing" that consists of 3 old songs in May 2007.
HELL YEAH FOR NOTHING TODAY :
These days they agreed to get more serious in spreading their music and trying to reach more people all over the world. Their musics characterized by simple lyrics to make everybody easier to memorize what we were singing, catchy choruses, fast tempos and recurring a lot of subjects like love-hurts, friendships, politics and our recent experiences in life. In the next progress of making our new songs, many talented friends also helping us by giving their contribution. So at the end of February 2009, they successfully released their second album entitled “long hair thunder!â€. Hell Yeah For Nothing fights to declare their musics to many people in Indonesia and also to the other foreign music listener out there.LONG HAIR THUNDER! ALBUM
