/well its about time for a new year. i began my 3oth year of life beautifully, and despite some minor bumps in the road, i must admit i feel pretty damn lucky to be where i'm at. sure, you could hear me complain about the current state of life at any moment, but to know me is to know that i complain, like it or not, even if i shouldn't. i want the perfect princess life, but i know its not been determined to be so. or at least not yet. so here i am, on the eve of a whole new year... cleansing away the muck that has had me covered for far too long, making way for new growth, new life, and new experiences. i have a hunch that i will soon exceed even my own expectations. peace and love in 2007.

My Interests

Motherhood, education reform, uplifting the youth, being a better mother, learning how to calm down, and figuring out a way to spend my summers in a foreign country.

I'd like to meet:

my brother as soon as he gets off the plane, cause the next time he comes back from iraq, it'll be for good. WE LOVE YOU MARCO!!! PEACE in the MIDDLE EAST! Tribe of M!

Music:

anything that takes me back to a time when life was carefree...

Movies:

i am such a loser that after i saw freedom writers i was actually inspired to teach again and have since planned to take my babies to a fancy jazz brunch next month

Television:

i was so psyched that american idol was back until i realized that this season chose to glamorize people with special needs rather than talent.

Books:

cat in the hat, ferdinand, where the wild things are. anything that affirms my belief that my child is indeed a genius. oh and dharma punks. i think the quest is back on.

Heroes:

Wonder Woman pales in comparison to you Ma... sorry you two shared this space for so long. My mother is the only real wonder woman i know.
