EZ Street West was originally formed by Erik Shaw, Kabel Lefto, Spencer Suchoski, and Joe Beck in the Fall of 2005. The following winter Joe Beck, our beloved keyboard player, decided EZ Street was not fitting him how he wanted and decided to leave. Summer ensued, and the band gained popularity, especially at The Twin Cities Underground, playing with bands including Merge Left and The Skastronauts.
However, school began once again and drama struck. The three remaining musicians were drifting away from the band and tension grew. Eventually, EZ Street broke up, and Erik, Spencer and Kabel went their own seperate ways.
Spring of '07 came along and Erik and Danny began jamming with various other musicians, but nothing really stuck until they asked Spencer to play one weekend. From there, several new songs were written, and it was intended to be a completly new band until all three realized they were playing old EZ Street West songs. So they decided to take the name.
We currently selling demo CDs for $3. Anyone who wants one should email Spencer or talk to any of the members. The songs on the demo are:
Look At You Now
Boom!
and Kiss the Past Goodbye.
Or you can just listen to them here (they'll all be up soon, there are some technical problems at the moment). We hope you dig it!
We'll play almost anything people ask us to. Bars/clubs, teen venues, battles of bands/competitions, parties or whatever you can think of! Along with shows, if you want to see any of us do something riddiculous or idiodic, please, PLEASE let us know, and we most likely will. (assuming it's legal...)
Leave comments, send messages, write an email ([email protected]) and pass on the bulletins!
