WHO WE ARE:
C.A.T.A.L.E.S. is a non-profit no kill organization dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of homeless cats and kittens. Through foster homes, we provide food, medical care and temporary shelter for cats and kittens awaiting adoption. We also provide a safe haven for those cats that have special needs and are waiting for special homes. These include cats with feline AIDS, leukemia, diabetes or cats that need daily medical care.List of some of the adoptable cats:
Adoptable Cats from CATALESTrap Neuter-Release Program:
Reducing the population of suffering cats is one of C.A.T.A.L.E.S. main goals. We provide assistance to the people of the Middlesex county area with our trap/neuter and release program. This program educates the public on how to catch and care for feral or stray cats without harming them.
We do not participate in trapping for euthanasia!Feral Colonies:
We spend lots of time and effort caring for neighborhood feral cat communities. These cats are humanly trapped, vaccinated, altered, and then returned to their location. We provide daily feeding to keep them healthy and to encourage them to stay away from garbage cans and dumpsters. We give them small shelters to sleep in during bad weather and to help them avoid predators. The rest of our care creates colonies of cats that are peaceful, healthy and are rarely an annoyance to residents of their homes.Adoptions:
The most challenging, yet rewarding task C.A.T.A.L.E.S. has is to find safe, loving, responsible and permanent homes for all our cats and kittens. Potential parents must complete an application, agree to spay/neuter (if not already done), consent to follow-up visits and pay the adoption donation which helps offset some medical care provided during the animals stay with us.Donations:
100% of your donations go directly to the cats. Specifically, for medical care, vaccines, leukemia, and feline AIDS and to spay or neuter. Most of our funding comes from generous supporters like you. In addition to monetary donations, we can always use food, litter, scratching posts, toys, etc. Every bit helps.
