THE SOULCHILDREN FOUNDATION- A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ON A POSITIVE MISSION FOR INNERCITY YOUTHSoulChildren Foundation, "SCF" was created out of the evolution of childhood friends who are creative artists, djs and music lovers that first came together as a collective in the early 90's to spearhead unique and deeply soulful music events in Los Angeles, California. To this day, this collective is respectfully known as the "Soul Children". Some of the members of the Soul Children Collective chose to become educators as well as creative artists. VISION: For SCF founder, QMichelle, this presented an unique opportunity to infuse several passions together and create something distinctive. By combining academic teaching, creative art and music, another entity called the SoulChildren Foundation was formed. The SCF set out to offer the community's youth academic support along with exposure to diverse music and creative art forms.
