I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Geographer, Photographer turned Graphic Artist, Drummer, Listener, and now booking agent for Selwyn Cooper. Born in Cleveland, raised near Delaware, Ohio, now living in Louisiana for four years now. Indoctrinated as a bluesman before I graduated high school, been drawing maps since I started primary school. Graduated from Louisiana State Univ this summer, where my academic work was on the evolution of Blues Music tourist destinations (namely Memphis & Jackson, Miss). My next project will concern the cultural/music heritage of Baton Rouge because so little has been done to document it over the years. In previous lives I've been a newspaper editor (high school newspaper), lumber salesman, highway researcher (historical, cultural, and planner), and Blues Society officer (for two different groups).

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Geographers, highway sign, map, and photo collectors, Blues Musicians and fans, and friends from previous lives (as well as this present one I'm stumbling through).

My Blog

GlobalAtlanta

http://www.globalatlanta.com/article/16953/ Hungarian and blues. I'm not the only one.

Favorite (Blues) Guitar solos at the start of a song

I was over at the Compact Disc Store (here in BR) and saw a Otis Rush CD that I decided that I needed to have.  It is in honor of the last song on that CD that I start this list below. 1. All You...

Well now that the 2008 Blues Festival guide has been released, I have no problem saying that yeah, I have an article in it.  I've pretty much kept quiet about this to almost everyone (maybe I tho...
