I started this band because my previous band, Moldyshorts and the Dungeaters, isn't getting anywhere because I moved to New Mexico and my fellow band mate, Kayla, still lives in Oklahoma. And so, I am going solo with this band.
Now, you may ask, what is Wizard Rock, and I will tell you...
Wizard rock is a musical movement dating from 2002 that consists of at least 200 bands made up of young musicians, playing songs about Harry Potter. [Wikipedia]
Another question you may have,
what is Umbridged! and what does it have that other wizard bands don't have?
Well, that answer is simple. Umbridged! has many things to offer. The loveliness that is Dolores Jane Umbridge. A single-woman band. And wonderful lyrics (unfortunately, not so wonderful vocals). And, hopefully some wonderful intrument playing as well... but I am working on that.
