WHAT IS ARTEMIS FREEZING?
Artemis Freezing is many things. The simplest: a rock-pop-soul band from Gainesville Florida. Maybe you've seen us play; we are a fresh grown musical mingling. Artemis Freezing has thus far appeared in Gainesville, although we are quickly moving our music to new locations. See our upcoming shows for details.
But for now, you may liberally experience our music for free. The song that is playing (or, that will soon be playing once you hit PLAY near the top of this site) is from our first acoustic demo album, "Delicious to Meet You" - released December 2007. If perhaps you live in the Gainesville area, you may have been kindly solicited with a colorful sleeve containing this very CD. Although the songs are copyrighted, we encourage everyone to distribute the music as much as possible; burn CDs, upload our songs to file sharing networks, or even put a tune on your homepage. Most importantly, show or tell your friends and pass the music along. These demos are FREE to the public and deserve maximum exposure! Thanks to all for helping.
Artemis Freezing is a unification of talented artists all graduated from previously successful musical groups across the Sunshine State. Which bands? That doesn't matter. Artemis Freezing provides 100 % original material which will not rely on past success to propel its cultural prestige. Our fans, if any, will be earned from the simple bond germinated between our songs and the respective emotional fondness of the listener. Compliments and criticism are both apt and advantageous.
