Spending time with him is the most important to me.The joy of small pockets of time as they present themselves throughout the day.A phone call between appointments just to say "hi." a bedtime story.Few minutes to help with homework,going to breakfast and drop off at school.Getting every moment i can with my child.It's impossible to understand the importance of a father modeling the type of behavior he desires to see in my child.Role models don't just talk the talk;they walk the walk of an honorable man.A great place to start is consistency.Do i keep my word?
Do i stand up for what is right even when it cost me?Am i trustworthy? Am i loyal in our relationship?Am i what i want my child to be!Realize i am a Father forever, i must let go of the youthful activities that bond me with my child.
But being a good father, i relizes that as i allow my child his freedom to direct his life,i will not abandon him at the dorm room,a wedding alter,or the door of his first job.I will continue to encourage, coach and convey my wisdom to my child forever.A healthy prayer life and take worshipping God seriously helps my child to understand that there is an ultimate authority in his life,an authority who provides moral absolutes for him to live by.My child needs to know that there is a right and wrong,good and evil.Living under the authority of God will give them that knowledge.Finding The Right Prospects!!!!I am so excited I can barely type.
