My name is D.J. David Gerlitzki, I was born in 1970 in Oakland, CA and grew up in Paradise, PA. I created an interest in music at a young age. It all started with me playing the saxaphone and singing in the choir throughout school. My interest in music varied from Punk/new-wave, classic rock, disco/retro classics, ambient, gothic/industrial, grunge, techno/hi NRG dance, house, trance, and now electro/tribal beats!!I started spinning in 1992 at "Torpedo" in South Beach, Miami, then played at Twist, Westend, Warsaw, Kremlin, The Eagle(Ft.Lauderdale), Hombre, and many private parties and after-hours.
In 1994 I moved to Connecticut and played the Limelight, Lure, & J's Hangout in NYC. At the same time had spots in New Haven and New London: Beach Club, Heroes, Saloon, 135 York St. Cafe, and many after-hours parties!From there I moved back to Pennsylvania were I grew up, and started D.J.ing at 12th Air-command(Philly), Stallions and The Cellar(Harrisburg), Mattison Park(Asbury Park, NJ) and The Den nightclub(Somerset, NJ), and was at The Circuit
nightclub in Asbury Park, N.J. for a year and a half.Presently, I'm the in-house D.J. at "J.O'Neil's Place" in Sayreville N.J. for the past 2 years! There are big gigs on the horizon, but as I always say, "Live one day at a time" and your dreams will come true!!!
