About Me

In only one year 24 year old singer-songwriter guitarist Todd Lombardo has gone from playing juke joints in Jacksonville, Florida to playing the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee backing major industry artists Taylor Swift and Rebecca Lynn Howard!! How did he do it in the extremely competitive Nashville music scene?
Here’s how...
Moving to Nashville in March 2006 and without a gig Todd soon found himself setting up and breaking down for long time friend and musical confidant Henry Murphy at a local bar called the Tin Roof. Sitting in on the acoustic guitar whenever he could Todd soon landed his first gig with country artist Taylor Swift helping her with her 1st major US tour. Highlights of that tour was a nine show stint opening for Rascal Flatts and playing the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium. In between major shows Todd also did live recordings for CMT and Sirius Satellite Radio.
You would think with this incredible start it would be enough to sit back and revel in the accomplishments of one year, but not so with Todd. With the drive of an 18 wheel semi Todd has also just completed what will be his first album that he wrote, recorded, produced and performed! With influences from Alison Krauss, The Beatles, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Jerry Reed, The Band, John Mayer and Lindsey Buckingham to Pat Metheny and Al Dimeola, Todd songs are of a passionate voice that soothes and draws you in with his haunting melodies and memorable chorus’s. Todd’s smooth, silky thick vocals, and lush harmonies, along with multi-layered acoustic and electric guitars dominate and create a sound all it’s own.
