Oscar Pond (The Boney King Of Nowhere)

Life has passed me by. Of course, i had to hide a few times

About Me

Im jaime. Im just about the luckiest guy on the planet. My life is near enough exactly how i have always wanted and its brilliant. I enjoy every moment of it, especially spending time with my girlfriend Laura, something i just cant get enough of, there is no price to the feeling of being wanted or the kind of happiness she brings me, just with a simple smile, or even just a look. Also i love playing with one of my 2 bands or just sitting around with a friend or two.
Chances are if you try to add me i will just deny it if i dont know you 8-) i have enough friends to keep me happy so maybe i will catch you all some other time, and if your a band and want me to accept you just ask and i'll listen to you and if i feel i want to promote you or hear what you have planned gig wise i will add you, thank you for putting up with all this, later.

"So... Lunch?"
"Mulder, toads just fell from the sky."

My Interests

im not very interesting, But fuck it here is a list.
Music. Sheff Utd. Playing guitar. Suzie, my scooter. WSB and MotoGP, Brands Hatch is the shit. Hats. Hair. Drinking Tea. A double Bells and a Marlboro. Watching 'respectable' people walking along a really icy street

I'd like to meet:

"It looks like bile." "... Is there anyway i can get this off my fingers quickly without betraying my cool exterior?"iuno, i think i will save meeting new people till after the summer, should make the most of the friends i have now, cause i know i will lose touch with a large portion of them over the next 3 years, and for that i apologise.

Music:

My taste in music is really quite varied, this doesn't however mean i like everything, i just like, little bits of different music. I like a lot of indie bands, i also really really don't like even more of them (there is so many nowadays) i love Radiohead and Muse, i think Tom Waits is just incredible and that Ryan Adams is brilliant, however, i don't like many other country singers, and while i love hearing jazz, and playing it is just as great, i don't really go out of my way to listen to much other jazz. My other area of interest is some of the old classics, your led zep's and your rolling stones etc that i hear a lot at my dads, and i have to admit i enjoy it. Folk music is awesome as well, from Nick Drake to Kate Rusby and Seth Lakeman, yet i believe folk music is only worth listening to live, as it just generates much more feeling and atmosphere when its live, saying that though, most, if not all music is best performed live than on cd, but that's just common sense seeing as that's what music is all about really. Just to clear up i say most, because there are a lot of bands out there that i feel couldn't cut the mustard live but that's just me being opinionated.

Movies:

yeah films are good. Dog soldiers, American Werewolf In London, Joyoux Noël, The Longest Day, Enemy At The Gates, Apocalypse Now, Donnie Brasco, Goodfellas, Band Of Brothers, The Departed, Resident Evil Apocalypse, The Sin Eater, Madagascar, THE LION KING 1 AND 3! hakuna matata all the way! Fight Club, Sharpe, 300, 300 Spartans Black Hawk Down, Silence Of The Lambs, The Long Kiss Goodnight etc

Television:

few good shows now and then, love NCIS and House :) Reaper and skins are awesome too but most of the ones i like arent actually on tv atm but dvds and stuff. I have to say M*A*S*H is up there with the best. like the X-files and black books, a bit of fry and laurie oh i could go on

Books:

yeah i am one of the few people who seem to be able to read judging by what most people put here.

"I knew she wasn't english cause she spoke it far too well, the grammar was goodly and the verbs as they should be, and the slang was bang on the bell. So as the language barrier clanged and banged i couldn't hear, hear or see, england, london, and bow, crumble into the sea."

Heroes:

My number one musical hero that is Thom Yorke

The creatively beautiful Jeff Buckley

The best ever blues guitarist that is Paul Kossoff

The unstoppable songwriting machine Ryan Adams

Matt Bellamy, its about time i put him in here, as far as guitar playing goes he's who i look up to the most...

Tom Waits because he is one of the greatest musicians around, end of story really, so yeah Tom Waits...
