Arcobaleno Records

Arcobaleno Records is the imprint of production and remix maestro Serge Santiago. Founded in 2005, the label got off to a flying start with the release of Santiago's Atto D'Amore. The single sided 12" was received accross the board with critical acclaim and is now considered to be something of an underground classic. The follow up release was a collaboration between Serge and good friend Kris Bones under the moniker Candidate. Anticipation was the track, a long dark journey full of atmosphere and subtlety. Famed for his colourful re-edits and italo disco style, this project was the start of a darker trait of music for Serge. Serge kept up the release of re-edits and went on a bit of a remix spree, re-working the likes of Goldfrapp and Roxy Music, and in the meantime bagged himself a residency at Space in Ibiza for the summer of 2007. He subsequently mixed their first We Love compilation alongside fellow resident Riton. The label is now getting ready for a whole host of releases. First off is Kenny Hawkes & David Parr with The Boobytrap and a snazzy Santiago remix to boot. Next, mixes of the classic Virtualmismo - Mismoplastico reworked by Serge Santiago, Michal Ho and Shakedown. Ynnad Zeugnimod presents his minimal groover No Name and coming soon brand new Serge Santiago italo re-edits. Watch this space. x
