HIT OR MISS [2003 - 2008]

Hit or Miss started out as a four piece fast paced hardcore/punk band. Playing since December of 2003. After their break they got drummer Jeff Olay to fully replace the old drummer. With these new changes they felt it was time to Change their name. From December of 2003 to now, Hit or Miss has not only been a band, they have been family to each other, they are a hardcore band striving for something more than just scene fame. We are not trying to break new ground but mearly trying accomplish what the bands we love and grew up with accomplished, and through common ground we will succeed. This is for the kids who supported us and for the ones who said we would never be here today.
Hit or Miss continued to play throughout the 2006 year. During the summer of 2006 they headed up to The Compound in Santa Cruz, CA to be recorded by Legendary hardcore/punk producer Joe Clements ( Fury 66, Audiocrush, Crucial Unicorn). During that time they produced a 7 song EP and released it. After that they continued to play shows until the leave of their drummer Jeff Olay in September of 2006. During that time hit or miss took time off to pursue other projects (ie: hook, out for all, road to victory). Without ever being sure whether to get back together the band stayed skeptical of the music scene around them. Now a year later, 3 original members Travis, Daniel and Waylon were tired of the music. After numerous amounts of people requesting a reunion, they decided to do it. Not for the fame, or attention, for the music. They want to show Stockton what "hardcore" and "punk" are. So they decided to grab close friend Josh Tasabia to fill in on drums. They are in the process producing their first full length. Even though it may not be professional, they are still instilling the DIY punk ethic of producing it themselves. They want to show everyone what DIY is and how to live by it. the are HIT OR MISS
