LEAD STILETTO

Lead Stiletto is ready to bring destruction to any pre-conceived notions of all-female rock bands. Not all groups have chemistry as smooth as top-shelf whiskey, with music to match. Coming off a stale period in her own musical endeavors, former Sinferno drummer Brandye Devine decided to start recruiting like-minded rock sisters to help bring the rock back. She called up old friend, Caitlin Landau, who blew the dust off her guitar, busted out her slide, and the seeds were planted. Shortly thereafter, they joined forces with metalchick extraordinaires Rachel Henthorn on vocals, and Jaime Gore on bass.
Finally, fully assembled, Lead Stiletto started writing some sludgy blues jams. Rachel's raunchy growl, Caitlin's sleazy lead guitar, Jaime's booming bass, and Brandye's devil drums are the perfect combination to make a crowd want to light one up, crack a beer, and raise their fists in glory. Based in the Portland , ME area, the girls recorded their first demo in April 2008, and are ready to hit the stage with a vengeance.
