WILD DISCO MAMAS or the virtual encounter between Dr Drak ,Mr Wilson (aka Antena) and La Malice.
A night in 2002, two French producers are chatting. Goodies & nice plans exchanged, as well as IP & passwords. Dr Drak and La Malice learn to know each other. Each of them telling the other his musical story.
Dr Drak uploads his first tracks issued from the collection Synthétique released on Distance and Spresso. Following, his productions/co-produtions for Pro-zak Trax, "La vie en house" and "1+1is love" (Lagardère, Luluxpo) + some of his EP's " Get some Drak" & " Avec les nuages" released on the label Cyclo. He adds his only D title "Paris is yours"(Gravity Records) and his brand new releases "Antilounge EP" and "Fonkofire" from Barracuda (Dr Drak vs Dj Kead) on the label Nekko.
La Malice puts 'online' his collaborations : Marc Moulin (Top Secret CD album released on Blue Note), and more hip hop productions like Puta Madre or DJ Grasshopper...
Meeting 'alive' is necessary. The alchemy is perfectly operating. The hard disks are full. Isabelle Antena comes in WDM from the beginning and quickly impress by her author-composer & vocalist's qualities. For the boys now it's sure , she 's got to be part of the band . She 'll be colouring the album with jazzy melodies and sunshine lyrics.
WDM (stands for Wilson , Drak , Malice ) first record is a deep house orientated album which leaves though the place for some disco & latin house titles. Just listen!
