Profile GeneratorHailing from London, Citizens are a 4 piece band formed in December 2007 by University friends Ed Smith (bass) and Matt West (guitar/vocals) along with Rob Lee on guitar and drummer Dan Frau. Having initially bonded over several ramshackle but nonetheless productive practices in north London, sharing influences from the likes of Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, DFA 1979 & Interpol. The band rented a studio in Elephant & Castle and spent the last year perfecting a sound full of driven basslines, insistent dance beats, full blooded vocals and intricate ethereal guitars.
