This recently formed band features 3 staple musicians and a fourth rotating member. Daniel Delacruz on saxophone, Ryan Moran on drums, and Grant Clarkson on bass. All three live in San Diego, California and are professional musicians to the core. All have toured extensively with different bands, and have been regulars in studios around the U.S. The band is well studied and is able to cross genres effortlessly. Focusing mainly in the instrumental funk and jazz genre, the band can also cross over into world, soul, hip-hop, and trance. The listener will never be bored at a Del show due to the variety presented.

Daniel Delacruz has been playing tenor saxophone since an early age and has know that music would become a way of life. He began touring the east coast since the age of seventeen with various bands. He attended the famed Berklee College of Music, and graduated from William Patterson University, studying jazz. He was a member of the well-known reggae band John Brown’s Body for 5 years. He is now a full-time member of the international touring band Slightly Stoopid .
Ryan Moran has been playing drums and percussion from an early age as well. Growing up on MTV and the influence of older sister’s musical taste had a great impact. He began playing drums in bands in and out of school at 12. During his high school years, he felt the calling for full commitment. At 16, he attended a summer school course at Berklee College of Music. He studied music at San Diego State University, focusing on world percussion and jazz drums. While in college he joined a working band from San Diego called the B-Side Players. After 7 years with them, he parted and is now also a full-time member of the international touring band Slightly Stoopid .
Grant Clarkson is a phenomenal bass player. He has been an integral player in the San Diego scene for over 10 years. He has played and recorded with many great bands including Wise Monkey Orchestra, Black Market Disciples, and Psydecar. He has recorded with many, many musicians and bands and can make any band sound excellent.
The fourth player in the band has been several different players to date. Mark Boyce of G-love and Special Sauce, and Sky Ladd, a well respected jazz pianist have both done gigs with the band. We are looking to perform with other equally accomplished musicians that can bring the funk…
