Ladybug

Ladybug paints for peace of mind.....writes for love of mind.....and teaches for continual development of mind. She digests the world and regurgitates it through creativity. After being told she wouldn't go any further than high school and that her education was not worth it...it pushed her to prove to herself and the world that she is all that God has brought her here to do. With the guidance of her Ori, elders, ancestors, the Orisha, and Ifa...she has had the opportunity to travel to West Africa a number of times and to Egypt, researching art within West Africa. Life's adversities have given her the ability to fight for what she wants and for those around her. Ladybug has been able to write two books, with another in the making. Lacking the fear of her own success has given her the courage to accept each struggle as a point of growth. Life has been her main teacher. Ladybug has been teaching for 10 years, while struggling with the oppression of our youth. Drawing strength from her family with more determination than before, the world continues to hear her war cry masked in honey and intelligence. Joy comes from within...what others provide is extra.
