About Me

I love to live and laugh and eat pizza . . . and burritos.

My Interests

Cooking, music, cycling, running, hiking, camping, traveling, laughing, art (looking at and painting), coffee, beer, and peanuts. All items are not in any particular order.CAUTION: CONTENTS MAY BE HOT! HANDLE WITH CARE!

I'd like to meet:

People who do the same but they don't have to like pizza and burritos as much as I do. But it'd rad if they did.

Music:

Underworld-Everything, Everything (best album ever!), Air, Zero 7, Cut Chemist, Mark Farina, Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg, anything on the Deep Dish or Global Underground label, Django Riegnhardt, Beck, The Beatles, Nick Drake, bluegrass-most everything, James Bown, Dirty Vegas-A Night @ the Tables, Radiohead, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Broken Social Scene, classical-especially a live symphony, J5, and everything else except for butt rock ("Appetite for Destruction" is an exception) and glam country (Willy and JC are ok). And all those other bands that I'm going to find out about from now on. Who are crafty and creative enough to still make something that sounds different. That and they sound cool.

This is the craziness that I saw last night. I wish you all could have also witnessed it. There were plenty of empty seats . . . I will make it to India . . . some day.

Movies:

Shawshank Redemption, Princess Bride, American Beauty, Monty Python & The Holy Grail ("Help, help I'm being repressed!") Weird Science, Beetlejuice, Pirates are cool, Roxanne, Three Amigos, Lost in Translation, The Jerk, Kill Bill 1 & 2, the OG Star Wars trilogy, all Indiana Jones movies and that one with the "Dude."

Television:

How about NO!

Books:

Steppenwolfe, The Invisible Man, Jitterbug Perfume, A People's History of the 20th Century, Fox and Socks, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, A Catcher in the Rye, The Life of Pi (not an Alchemist or an Ishmeal but great on the imagination and discription), The Stranger, and anything that doesn't suck. David Sedaris and Bill Bryson are okay I suppose, if yer into that laughing thing.

Heroes:

People who beat the odds.
