TECHNICIAN aka Patrick Duangchan was born in Santa Ana California on August 21, 1986. His family moved to America from Laos in the late 70's. Tech started out listening to underground hip-hop for many years before he got turned on to electronica. The first time he heard electronic music was back in 1995, he fell in love with it, but hip-hop was good through the years up until high school.In 2003 Tech transitioned from hip-hop to trance due to the fact that hip-hop was getting worse and trance was getting better. That year a good friend and fellow trance head let Tech borrow his dj set up and some trance records for a few months until one day he bught his very own technics. As he progressed as a dj he would never thought that he would one day share the same decks with some big time trance djs. In 2004 Tech attended his first rave at the Electric Daisy Carnival. This scene had such an impact in his life.Dj Technician broke out into the rave scene (AS A DJ) in 2006, hooking up with underground rave culture promoters NEOSAPIENS. (known for PRIMAL TRANCE, SPACE OPERA, EARTH IS ONE COUNTRY, ETC). Technician's unique dj sets include a mixture of energy, euphoria and dark emotions to control the mood of the dancefloor.
