Hello, My Name Is Miguel Torres.I was born and raised in both in Michiocan Mexico, and Saltillo Cauhilla. Then embarked as a Migrant Farmworker in the Rio grande Valley in Texas in Palmview Texas working in the enslaving fields in Michigan from dust to sun down. All my life i been working with my hands know that i am college i am working with my mind. I am the first in my Family to graduate High School and Also to Graduate College. I Graduated From Michigan State University in May 2006 In Social Science In Family Community & Service with a youth emphasis, and a cognate in Leadership and Management, and i have two specializations in Latin American Carri bean Studies, and also in Chicano Latino Studies.

I am the Recruitment and Placement Coordinator for Michigan State University High School Equivalency Program. I provide migrant students preparation toward completion of their General Educational Development (GED) as well as the development of academic, vocational, and personal skills necessary for higher education and career exploration. I am pursuing a Masters of arts in Student Affairs and Administration and a Graduate Specialization in International Development.
